Oolong

A leaf from the camellia senensis plant that varies in oxidation. Oolong is know as a Blue tea.  It is an artisan crafted tea and will vary from aromatically green to dark and caramelized.  Many steepings are characteristic of oolongs.  The leaves unfurl slowly and release different nuances and flavours each time. The caffeine level is medium and typically will be removed after the first steep. The general rule for measure is 1 tsp per cup.

Recommended steeping time: 3 to 5 minutes.
