5 Year Vintage - Golden Pu-erh has been aged for five years in a dark cave in the Yunnan Province of China. This aging process in a relatively high humidity environment has mellowed the elemental character of the tea when compared to a young Pu-erh. As with wine, young Pu-erh is considered the east valuable whereas Pu-erh five years or older is more highly prized. This Pu-erh is described as a hint of mustiness with a bit of an earthy character.
